The Operation House Call team is thrilled to announce we have been awarded a 1-year grant from Bailey’s Team for Autism to “flip the script” and educate and empower families and individuals regarding healthcare.

The team will develop an easy-to-use online health passport tool for families and individuals to use when meeting with a provider. This tool will be developed and informed by individuals with lived experience with autism and IDD, as well as by health providers. Jonathan Gardner, OHC Ambassador, will offer workshops for OHC co-teachers and families where he will introduce the tool, plus share some best practices in advocating and communicating in health care settings.

Thank you, Bailey’s Team! We are so excited to educate and empower families, helping to fulfill the mission of OHC to advance inclusive health care.
