With great sadness we announce that Gabriel Vonleh, President and CEO of The Arc’s Waltham-based chapter Opportunities for Inclusion, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 10 due to medical complications after a short illness.
“The Arc of Massachusetts and our Chapter Affiliates are heartbroken about the loss of our extraordinary colleague and friend, Gabriel Vonleh,” said The Arc of Massachusetts CEO Maura Sullivan. “Gabe was a compassionate and strong CEO of Opportunities for Inclusion. Gabe worked diligently to expand access to meaningful and innovative supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Gabe’s loss will leave a tremendous void in our Arc family. Our deepest sympathies go out to Gabe’s family, his colleagues, and the community that he so passionately served.”
