The Arc of Massachusetts gratefully acknowledges and thanks the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for autism for their generous $10,000 grant to fund consultants for eligible families who could not otherwise afford the SUPPORTbrokers program.
Under this grant, The Arc of Massachusetts provides 1:1 consultation for under-represented families to resolve priority concerns for their loved ones with autism. This includes help identifying program options, navigating government agencies, creating an action plan, accessing resources, or simply knowing your rights and how to advocate for them. Without these funds, many families in need would not have access to this high-level of expertise and advocacy and the positive outcomes that result from it.
