On Friday, May 6, WCVB Channel 5 News aired a story entitled “Mother anguished over son’s death after unexplained discharge from ER.” In telling the story of Daniel Donovan’s tragic passing, the segment features an interview with The Arc’s Maura Sullivan and a discussion of The Arc’s legislative priority for hospital training.
The Arc is grateful to the Donovan family for sharing the heartbreaking story of their son Daniel’s tragic death and for their support of legislation that will require training, standards of care, and continuing education regarding autism and other disabilities for all Massachusetts hospitals.
