Brian Kremer is the Executive Director of Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong (MASS), where for more than seven years he has partnered with a Board of Directors composed entirely of people with disabilities to ensure the organization’s work is driven by the voices and decisions of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. Since earning his MBA at Brandeis, Brian has been a disability advocate in Massachusetts for the past 12 years.
Prior to his work in Massachusetts, Brian co-led international development projects with the Peace Corps in Morocco and Armenia, including initiatives with a strong disability focus.
Brian is a dedicated leader and a fierce advocate for peer-led change, informed by both professional expertise and lived experience. As the sibling of his older brother Sean, Brian witnessed firsthand the systemic barriers faced by people with disabilities—from inadequate educational supports and frequent school changes to unprepared or unempathetic healthcare providers and the constant search for appropriate services. These experiences shaped his lifelong commitment to advancing disability inclusion.
Brian combines lived experience with years of advocacy to support more inclusive services and systems for people with disabilities.
